Finalist — Santander X Global Challenge | Reimagine Silver Age (Scaleup)
We’re proud to announce that MSK Doctors & Associates has been selected as a Finalist in the Santander X Global Challenge | Reimagine Silver Age.
The challenge we’re tackling
Small changes in how we move often appear long before pain becomes constant or function is lost. Yet most mobility checks still rely on occasional clinic visits and human observation. That means early decline can be missed, and opportunities for prevention are lost.
Our Project
MAI Motion™ is a software-only, markerless motion analysis platform that turns a standard camera into a 3D movement lab. Short everyday tasks (e.g., sit-to-stand, step, squat) generate objective motion biomarkers across control, rhythm, alignment, force proxies and timing. This supports earlier detection of mobility decline, personalised treatment planning, better clinical decisions (including surgical planning and post-op monitoring), and remote, real-world follow-up at community scale.
About MAI Motion
By delivering dynamic, weight-bearing analysis without special hardware, MAI Motion makes movement health precise, repeatable, and accessible—helping older adults stay active and independent for longer while improving system efficiency across clinics, homes, and community hubs.
About Santander X
Santander X is Banco Santander’s global entrepreneurship programme, supporting high-potential startups and scaleups with mentoring, visibility, and a collaborative network to help impactful innovations scale responsibly.
